Dryer Vent Cleaning
Putting your Home's Safety First
A common mistake that homeowners make is not having their dryer vents inspected and cleared out once a year.
Dryer lint and other materials (such as dust and strands of hair) build up in your dryer vent over time, becoming a fire hazard. Luckily, at Triangle Home Detailing, our technicians have the professional knowledge and expertise to get the job done right!
Signs your home is in need of a dryer vent cleaning:
It’s been a year since your last cleaning—dryer vents should be cleared annually.
There’s a burning scent coming from your dryer and/or dryer vent.
Your clothes don’t dry completely after a full cycle.
The outdoor flap remains closed while your dryer is spinning—when you run your dryer, a flap should come open where your vent exits your home; if it doesn’t, the airflow is likely obstructed.
You spot lint outside, near your dryer vent.
